ABOUT US

OUR PASTOR

Elder Walter D. Robertson

Isaiah 62:6 KJV, "I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the Lord, keep not silence…"

And as one of the prolific voices of our time keeps silent he has not…

Nothing is more influential in shaping the lives of God’s people than a yielded vessel to carry God’s message of hope, healing, and deliverance to the people of God. He has been chosen to usher in a dynamic and powerful end time move of God. A man not afraid of the assignment which God has placed in his hands. His burning vision to see the lives of God’s people transformed by the revelation of God’s word is evident in his commitment and approach to ministry and his lifestyle of holiness….a man that boldly declares, “ I love God for real”.

The Man…

Elder Robertson, a native of Eden, NC was reared under the tutelage of his parents/pastors, Dr. Bobby and Elder Carol Robertson. After graduation from Drewey Mason High School (June 1980), he matriculated to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. There Elder Robertson received a Bachelor of Arts in Biology (May 1984) and Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the Eshelman School of Pharmacy (Dec 1989).

Elder Robertson would further his Biblical studies as well. He received a Master of Ministry and Master of Theology from Andersonville Theological Seminary in Camille, GA (Nov 2001). Currently he is pursuing the Doctor of Ministry: Pastoral Studies from Andersonville as well.

The Ministry…

Elder Robertson accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior at an early age and heard the call of God to minister at 16 years of age. After years of expressing given sermons through song, Elder Robertson preached his initial sermon, “Why Are You Here?”, on September 15, 1991. He would become an ordained elder of the United Holy Church of America on September 25, 1993. The same year he would assist his parents in the establishment of Monument of Faith Ministries in his home town of Eden, NC.

During his tenure in the ministry, Elder Robertson has held numerous positions of leadership including youth pastor, associate pastor, and minister of music as well as being a sought after evangelist. He was appointed pastor of Monument of Faith Ministries, Eden, NC on February 3, 2013. An assignment he holds to date.

Elder Robertson served on the Board of Presbytery of the Western NC District of the United Holy Church of America from 2016-2024. He was elected to the office of 2nd Vice president of the Western NC District of the United Holy Church of America on July 26, 2024.

His mantle is prophetic in purpose, apostolic in function, pastoral in compassion, and evangelistic in outreach. Over the years this mantle has granted the opportunity of ministering, in word and song, throughout the continental USA.

The Movement…

Elder Robertson is a true visionary to the people of God, who brings relevance to God’s Word. He is focused on the Great Commission to make disciples and win souls for the Kingdom of God. Under his leadership, Monument of Faith Ministries has a long list of accomplishments:

  • ministries have been established to meet the diverse needs of parishioners and the surrounding community by making available the Christian Education Ministry, Covenant Keepers Marriage Ministry, WOW Singles Ministry, Men of Valor, Young Men of Valor, Women of Purpose, Young Women of Purpose, and CAYA (Come As You Are) Outreach ministry
